Year 3

Welcome to term 6 in Year 3M

This term is going to continue to be pretty unusual with home learning continuing because of Covid 19 and the lockdown.

Each week I'll upload your weekly work here as well as daily onto class Dojo.

Have fun, stay safe and I hope to see you soon.

Previous weeks learning can be found at the bottom of the page.
A warm welcome to Year 3

We are a class of 19 pupils with two wonderful TAs, Miss Blower and Mrs Dolmore. Our classroom is an exciting environment to learn in, full of laughter and with our own cosy reading corner for quiet time. We provide a space to suit everyone's needs and encourage an ambitious attitude to learning. Our children use their learning dispositions throughout their learning; being collaborative, prepared, imaginative, explorers, persevere and being ambitious.

Coronavirus Update

I will be sharing resources with you on a weekly basis for the time that the children would usually be in school. For the week commencing Monday 23rd March, we have made packs to be collected from school. I have uploaded all resources from this pack for you to access digitally if you wish.

Daily jobs will include-
  • 20-30 minutes reading
  • 20-30 minutes spelling
  • 20-30 minutes TT Rockstars
Please keep an eye on Class Dojo and keep in contact. I can respond during normal school hours.

We will be posting more work online as the self-isolation situation continues. Log in to to Purple Mash and look at '2Dos'.

Your next weekly pack will be available after the Easter holidays. The exact details (dates and how to collect) will be shared on Class Dojo.

We are thinking of you all at this uncertain time and hope that you can also use your time at home to enjoy a range of exciting activities with your children. Bake cakes, sing, dance, make models out of different materials, paint, perform a puppet show and more.

Please share pictures of what you're up to on Class Dojo Portfolio.

We hope that you enjoy your Easter holidays. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

Thank you,
Miss Millar
